Pop Up Gazebo
Whether you are looking for an instant gazebo or a pop up gazebo you need to be aware of a few things. The first thing you need to think about is your budget. If you are just looking for the cheapest of cheap pop up gazebo models then you are going to almost certainly be disappointed with your purchase. If you only need something that will last a couple of weeks then you could consider price as the only factor when looking at pop up gazebos.
When you are looking for a pop up gazebo that will last you more than a few weeks price can not be the decision maker. You need to think about how you will be using the gazebo. Where you will use it and for how many hours a day are other things to consider. You should also think about where your instant gazebo will be located most of the time. The beauty with the easy up models is that you can put it up in one spot and then if you do not like it there you can move it. This is not so easy with a wooden gazebo.
How Big A Gazebo
Before you go and buy a 10 x 10 gazebo and then spend all summer trying to squeeze 8 people under it, think about how many people will be using it and how you want to use it. If you want to use it as a dining area then you may want to measure the table you use so that you know it will fit under it comfortably and don’t forget to get a screened gazebo so that you can keep all the bugs out.
How Many Hours a Day
Will you just be using it as somewhere to hide out from the sun for an hour or two or will you be out there morning noon and night? If you would like to be able to use it during the evening then you may want to look for some kind of solar powered lighting to go inside the gazebo.
Weather
Since you are looking for a pop up gazebo you can take it down reasonably quicky if you need to, but what about if you put it up and then go out? Do you get strong winds in your area, if you do then you may want to consider buying some gazebo weights. They are usually metal and go at the bottom of the legs that hold the shade up. There is nothing quite like going out for an hour and finding your gazebo has blown into one of the neighbors gardens.
Location
Will you just be using it in your own garden or will you be taking it to the beach or park with you. Carrying a heavy bag full of metal pipes and material down miles of beach paths is not fun. If you go to the beach a lot and just want some shade you may want to think about a pop up tent rather than a full on gazebo
A garden pop up gazebo can last you for more than one season if you give some thought to how you want to use it and the environment it will be used in. You will need to take it down when you know bad weather is coming and take some time to clean it before you pack it away. If you do these few basic things then your pop up gazebo should last you for many years.
